If you don’t already know us…
We are a multi-media storytelling studio on a mission to lighten the decision making and choices in life, which can sometimes be overwhelming. Our main characters, best friends Bob and Barb, explore fun and dynamic ways to weigh options, understand one’s fears and strengths, and pay attention to actions and consequences that inform our ability to make decisions and solve problems creatively.
We’ve created a couple of main “characters”…
Bob loves gardening, organizing, helping people, and most of all, living life! He really likes exploring and wants to learn about EVERYTHING! Bob approaches all of life’s adventures with curiosity and compassion.
+ Barb loves baking, swimming, traveling, and most of all, living life! She likes having fun with her friends and making new friends, like YOU! Barb approaches all of life’s adventures with curiosity and compassion.

We are created by a “couple” of creatives…
Derek + Bryn draw from their own life adventures to imagine, write, and illustrate whether on the road or at their home studio in Saratoga Springs, NY. Bob and Barb is Derek’s vehicle for teaching - in a fun way - a little bit about how to handle what life is throwing at you and how to make choices and decisions when doing so may seem overwhelming. For Brynya, co-founding the studio is the culmination of her life’s practice in education, design, and entrepreneurship, thus far…
